This post has been a long time coming, so I’m really excited to finally share it with you. A styled shoot had been something that I’ve wanted to plan for the longest time, . I did the research on what it would take to pull one off, but the task of reaching out to all of the vendors seemed really daunting. I put off planning for a while, but after God started speaking to me about doing this shoot, I couldn’t put it off any longer. Don’t speak about it, BE about it, right? So last year I teamed up with some dynamic vendors in the Raleigh area and we put together an amazing fall-winter inspired styled wedding shoot. My inspiration came from the rich, romantic tones of purple and gold, and the warm textiles of fur and wool. I also envisioned hot cocoa, delicious finger deserts and sweet wine. We photographed the shoot at the Piazza at Portofino, a charming wedding venue in Clayton, NC. This was also my first time shooting a session completely in film, which I absolutely loved doing! Here is my labor of love.

 

I photographed this shoot in all film, (with my trusty backup digital shooter) so I had to wait a few weeks to see if the styled wedding shoot came out as I had planned. When my film scans came back, I was elated! The images turned out so much better than I had expected. I am pleased to say that our styled shoot was published on the MunaLuchi Bridal website!
