From the moment I spoke to Brittany on the phone, I knew that her sweet and fun personality would exude in her engagement photos. How did you and Jayvonn meet?
Jayvonn and I met Junior year of High school. We both shared an interest in ceramics and instantly became good friends. Slowly, we began hanging out and Jayvonn even helped me run for our class homecoming queen. Five years later, after we both completed our college careers, we became soulmates.
How did Jayvonn propose?
On Thanksgiving day 2016, my world changed in an instant. As our closest friends and family gathered in prayer, Jayvonn volunteered to lead in prayer. As he asked everyone to bow their heads, Jayvonn reached for my hand, proceeds to get on one knee and pops the big question that every girl dreams of – Will You Marry Me! With tears in my eyes, of course I said YES!
Tell me about the details you’re most excited about for your upcoming wedding!
We are cake lovers – lol!! We are excited to see both of our visions displayed on the cake. Along side the cake, we are also excited to celebrate our union with our family and friends.
Where are you getting married?
We are getting married at Noah’s Event Venue in Morrisville, North Carolina. The reception and ceremony will be shared at the same location.
What kind of look were you going for in your engagement photos?
We are a laid back and modern couple. So we wanted to go for that simple but clean appearance. Overall our look was a representation of us as a couple.
Do you have any tips or advice for other couples about to have engagement photos taken?
To just have fun during your shoot. I didn’t realize how much work goes into a engagement session lol. But remember these pictures are a reflection of you both. Pictures last a lifetime!
How was your overall session experience?
